Mid-Night Snuggles

Published on 29 July 2023 at 15:21

Harry is definitely not a fan of storms we were up at mid-night needing some snuggles to calm the nerves poor fella. After waiting the storm out for an hour and half back to bed and slept the rest of the night.

I can't imagine what goes through his mind. Being in a new and different environment everything smells different and sounds different. Learning to adjust to a whole new life.

I can remember as a kid having sleep overs at a friend's house, and how when I would first wake up and forget where I was. How when I stayed for several days, I would get home sick.

Harry is making himself right at home decided we'd kick our legs up for a bit after our morning rounds in the farmyard. Still haven't officially introduced him to the pigs they sure were making a ruckus this morning figured Harry had enough excitement last night with the thunderstorm.

Love how Harry really has no concept of personal space my husband says we're joined at the hips wherever I am Harry is sure to follow. I feel like he is my angle sent from above silly as that may sound. How he came into our lives was not a coincident it was as if someone or something had a hand in it. He has this little sprig of white hair on the top of his head I tell my husband it's a kiss from heaven.

This afternoon Harry and I are going to finish getting the camper ready for his maiden voyage his first camping adventure. My husband and I use to go camping a lot but, when our boys Ollie and Buster's health declined, and they were not able to get their vaccines we put our camping excursions on hold. A lot of good memories and a lot of memories to be made.
