As you can see Harry was excited when his foster brought him out to the car for his ride to his forever home 😊 I have to say though he was not too sure what to think getting in the car for the ride.
Once we got home, we toured around the farmyard which he enjoyed. He was not too sure about the pigs he heard squealing in the hog house. That will warrant an official introduction later.
He is quite the gentleman going into the house he waited to let me lead the way entering the door first.
He spent the evening checking his home out and he immediately noticed a room we set up just for him as his safe place with his crate, food station and a few toys to start with.
First night went great for Harry he took to his crate when it was time for bed. He slept all night without a peep which I was quite surprised for being in a new environment I expected a restless night.
First day of Harry's Journey he was wide awake at 6AM and patiently waiting for mom to get the coffee going. Coffee on out for morning potty training which he has done very well.
Breakfast he ate it all up he started transitioning from puppy food to adult food he turned one last week, so the foster started the transition. He doesn't seem to mind gobbled it right up.
After breakfast out for potty training and morning walk, he is a well-behaved lead dog walks alongside taking in his new surroundings he is definitely intrigued with the squealing of the pigs in the hog house. I think we will wait a little longer before introductions.
While I am publishing this blog, he is lying under my desk in the office resting from his morning adventure around the farm. I think while he is resting, I am going to make some calls for quotes on getting a fenced in area for safety so he can go out play and exercise.
With our Boston's I was never for putting them in a fenced in area even when supervised. Harry, I think he would love it and it would be a benefit for him to have that safe space to freely run and live the life he deserves.
Going to spend the rest of the day bonding with our Harry thank you for stopping in have a wonderful and special day.
